Parents have access to a development app Famly that keeps you informed throughout the day, has an instant messaging feature for those on the go, and provides regular observations and assessments, keeping you in the loop of every step of your child’s progress.
Wonderful place and atmosphere! Our little one loves it here! Would recommend it to anyone wanting to send their child here. The staff are brilliant, attentive and caring. Nothing is too much trouble, and they are always quick to respond to any questions. Great nursery!
We can hand on heart say this was the best decision we ever made for our little one. The staff at The Cottage have also been incredibly supportive when it comes to looking after our little one who has some additional developmental needs and pointing us and supporting us in accessing additional support. The staff here are simply amazing, and no amount of words will ever be able to explain the gratitude I have for all those involved in our little ones' care.
My daughter’s experience at The Cottage has been fabulous. She always speaks about the staff and care in glowing terms and has made a wonderful group of friends during her time at the nursery. She’s become a confident, independent young girl at The Cottage, and is developing new skills and words all the time. The communication from the nursery is also excellent. We receive regular updates on what she’s doing, what activities are taking place, and if there’s an accident.
Both my children have attended The Cottage, and I couldn’t be happier with their time and care for both of them. The staff are always friendly and approachable, keep you informed about their daily activities via the app, and I am always picking up happy children at the end of the day. There are always new engaging activities each day, which have helped bring on their verbal and physical development. Meals are made fresh and have a wide variety to offer.
The Cottage nursery is amazing, with a 5-star review all-round. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! The Cottage has looked after two of my children from 12 months through to school age, with my youngest child currently attending. Nothing is too much trouble; if I ever have a worry about my child’s development or feelings that day, they take her under their wing and she always comes out smiling.
My son has been attending The Cottage since October 2023. He is thriving in all areas, and the confidence he now has within the community, I strongly believe is due to the work and efforts all the staff put into all the children. All his needs are met, and the app allows us to have the communication required throughout his days at nursery. He works closely with his key worker who encourages nursery-home play. I can’t recommend it enough and can’t wait to continue to watch my boy flourish here.
